 Jean-Luc website

Dr Jean Luc Enyegue SJ is a Jesuit from Cameroon. Holds a PhD from Boston University. He is the Interim Director at the Jesuit Historical Institute in Africa. He has focused his research on Jesuit Mission in the Gulf of Guinea and West Africa and has authored several articles, including the Jesuits in Fernando Póo, 1857-1972: An Incomplete Mission! (Brill 2015). Dr Enyegue also lectures church history at Hekima University College.

Ms Sarah Ndungu holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Africa Nazarene University and a Graduate Diploma in Education from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa. She is full time Administrative Assistant at JHIA and oversees the process of cataloguing the institute's growing collection.

Mr Philip Opiyo is full time Office Assistant at JHIA and takes part in the process of cataloging books, documents, binding and restoring damaged books. He holds a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management and is a part-time student at Mount Kenya University in Nairobi, pursuing a Barchelor of Commerce.

Jeff Obatsa

Mr Geoffrey Obatsa holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture & Technology and a Certificate in Counselling Psychology from Tec Institute of Management. He is Office Assistant at JHIA, where he also works on digital preservation of documents and on the maintenance and expansion of the Africa Thesis Bank.

Mr Denis Munyua is an Information Communication and Technology specialist. He oversees the day to day running of the JHIA's information systems and infrastructure and takes care of the institute's digital archives.

Revd Dr Anicet N'Teba SJ is a Jesuit from Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). He obtained his PhD from the Gregorian University in Rome, specializing in church history. He teaches at the Institut de Théologie de la Compagnie de Jésus in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire, where he is also the Academic Dean. Revd Dr N’Teba is also a Senior Research Fellow at the JHIA.

Ms Aquinata Nanyonjo Agonga, Kenyan, holds a Master’s degree in Peace Studies and International Relations from Hekima Institute of Peace Studies and International Relations (HIPSIR). She currently lectures in related areas at the same time as she pursues her doctoral studies. Over the years she has developed interest in the history of the Jesuits in Southern Africa and has published papers on the subject. Ms Agonga is a Junior Research Fellow at the JHIA.
